RESUMO
As doenças
relacionadas à alimentação e as preocupações com a Segurança Alimentar e
Nutricional têm despertado o interesse para os alimentos agroecológicos. Assim,
o presente estudo tem como objetivo compreender e analisar a trajetória da
Feira Agroecológica da Associação Regional de Produtores Agroecológicos da
Região Sul (ARPA-SUL) no município de Canguçu, Rio Grande do Sul. Por meio de
um estudo de caso com os agricultores/as que fazem parte dessa feira, buscou-se
realizar um debate sobre a produção de alimentos saudáveis e o “caminho” que
esses alimentos percorrem da lavoura dos agricultores/as até a mesa dos
consumidores/as. O
estudo apontou que a experiência pesquisada tem muitas contribuições ao
contexto social da região de Canguçu, especialmente
na (re)conexão entre quem produz e quem consome os alimentos. Esses
agricultores/as, bem como seus clientes, têm acesso a alimentos saudáveis
comercializados em espaços que extrapolam a questão comercial, constituindo-se
como um local de troca de vivências e construção de saberes.

ABSTRACT
Food-related diseases and concerns about Food and
Nutrition Security have attracted interest in agro-ecological foods. So, the
present study aims to understand and to analyze the trajectory of Farmers
Market promoted by the Associação
Regional de Produtores Agroecológicos da Região Sul (ARPA-SUL) in Canguçu,
a municipality of Rio Grande do Sul. Through a case study with the farmers who
are part of this market, a debate has developed on the production of healthy
foods and the "way" that these foods go from the farmers' field to
the consumer's table. The study pointed out that the experience researched has
many contributions to the social context in Canguçu, especially in the
(re)connection between who produce and who consume these foodstuffs. These
farmers, as well as their clients, have access to healthy foods commercialized
in spaces that extrapolate the commercial issue, constituting a place of
exchange of experiences and construction of knowledge.
